Susan Boyle Reaches BGT Finals
The worldwide singing sensation that is Susan Boyle breezed through to the finals of Britain’s Got Talent after her winning performance on Sunday nights Live TV Show.
Her performance, which was taken from the musical ‘Cats‘ named “Memory” earned her a standing ovation and a spot on next Saturdays Britain’s Got Talent Finals.
Upon her getting the news that she was through to the finals, she wiggled her hips and commented by saying: “It was really good tonight, ive enjoyed every second. And I’d do it again.”
Before Susan Boyles Audition, the unassuming single woman drew snigger’s and scowls from the audience as well as the judges, but when she started singing, that was replaced by wild cheers. Simon Cowell also raised his eyebrows in complete surprise.
Her performance on the ITV1 show turned her into an overnight sensation, and earned Susan a string of global TV appearances, and over 130 million hits on YouTube. The producers of Britains Got Talent knew the world were eagerly awaiting Susan Boyles Semi-Final Performance, so left her the final of the eight acts to perform on Sunday nights show.
When the cheers and applause subsided, the judges couldn’t praise her enough. Piers Morgan said: “When the world was going through a pretty tough time and was looking for a bit of hope and inspiration, along came Susan Boyle to provide it.”
Simon Cowell apologized for poking fun at her during the original audition. “You are one special lady,” he said. “You really are.” he said.
