It has been reported that Simon Cowell has spent a staggering $1million on a state of the art Security system for his new Mansion in Beverly Hills.

The Britain’s Got Talent judge has made the decision to tighten up on his security after a fan committed suicide outside fellow American Idol judge Paula Abdul’s home in LA.

This decision has lead Simon Cowell to hire a firm used by Nasa and The President which specialise in fingerprint and retina scanners to do the security for his £15million home.

A source has said, “Of course there have been threats against him because of his Mr Nasty image. Simon decided that no expense would be spared.”

As we reported earlier this week, Simon Cowell’s new mansion has six bedrooms, a cinema and a garage big enough to park eight cars.
