Simon Cowell Hires Ex-Army Commando'sIt was revealed today that music mogul Simon Cowell has made the decision to step his security up a notch as he replaces his security staff with ex-Army commandos. Simon has taken the dramatic step after becoming concerned about his personal safety.

“Simon has decided to step up his private security,” the Sun quoted a source as saying.

Last week, he “found a tracking device fitted to the underside of his car, and there have been people loitering around his Los Angeles home, so he thinks its wise to take these precautions.”

“Simon was very happy with his previous muscle, but now he’s a global megastar, he faces much bigger threats. He thinks a team used to planning manoeuvres is a good thing” the source is quoted as saying.

This news comes after it was revealed he has spent $1 million dollars on security systems in his new $22 million dollar house in Los Angeles. Simon clearly has no knowledge that we are currently in the midst of a recession!
