Jamie Pugh Has Lied!
Jamie Pugh has apparently lied at his audition for Britain’s Got Talent. Pugh who is a pizza delivery man was seen on Britain’s Got Talent by over 12 million viewers telling Simon Cowell that he had never performed in front of a big audience before.
According to The Sun, the 38 year old has in fact performed in front of over 1000 people at Her Majesty’s Theatre in London’s West End.
Apparently the stage fright stricken Welshman appeared with other singers at Star EFX Sunday Night Live, which is a weekly show at the theatre for budding talent. He wore a tuxedo for a 15 minute slot in which he used to sing a selection of Rod Stewart’s hit songs.
Jamie Pugh was one of 7 performers in his group that were billed that night as “The American Songbook” and it is reported that Jamie actually performed a solo version of “What A Wonderful World“.
The programme for the show on that night stated that, “This is Jamie’s first foray into the world of musical theatre and marks his first public appearance.” it also says “He has dreamed of making this journey ever since he was a boy, when he saw Les Miserables in London.”
A person who was in the audience of Jamie’s show in London said, “I couldn’t believe it when I saw him on Britain’s Got Talent saying he had never performed in front of an audience before“. They also said “I remember his performance going down really well – and he didn’t look like he was suffering with stage fright then.”
With all this being said Pugh is insisting that he has not lied or tried to fool anybody. He explained “I have previously performed as part of a group but I never sang alone. It didn’t go that well.”
Britain’s Got Talent phenomenon Susan Boyle may be quiting the show before the live finals. Over the last week there have been loads of rumours that have hinted to the fact that Susan may quit Britain’s Got Talent and it looks as though the rumours may be true as it has been said that a departure could be made soon.
A new video has been posted on youtube saying that Hollie Steel may be lying about her age. The video claims that Hollie is in fact 12 years old instead of 10. Also on this video it has been said that Hollie and her mum are blaming Simon Cowell for being rude.
